Position: Curriculum Developer (Science)
​
Job Responsibilities

 

• To plan, develop and design an engaging and effective Primary and Secondary School  Science curriculum, and/or improve on existing curriculum

• To engage various stakeholders to understand needs and curriculum objectives

• To coordinate the review of all curriculum to ensure that the programmes meet the scope and requirements of the current syllabus

• To set and develop training programmes for educators and teachers implementing the curriculum.

• To work collaboratively with various departments for plan and generate creative content to market programmes and events.

• Plan and facilitate lessons, keeping track of students’ progress

• Build a good rapport with students and parents

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company

 

Requirements

​

• NIE-Trained or have a good University degree

• Demonstrated content knowledge and pedagogical expertise in the relevant subject

• Strong attention to detail

• Extremely strong writing and proofreading skills

• Strong work ethic and ability to work flexibly

• Able to travel islandwide (if required)

• At least 3-4 years of relevant teaching experience at MOE Primary/ Secondary Schools & familiar with the latest Primary/ Secondary syllabus

• Passionate about teaching with a proven track record in motivating students and helping them excel

• Good communication and rapport building skills

• Dedicated and committed team player with the initiative to work independently

• Experienced Level Heads or HODs in MOE Primary/ Secondary Schools will have an added advantage
